The Union Museum of History and Art will have an exhibit of some 70 vintage Union Parish handmade quilts made by local people. This will be a beautiful and meaningful collection of handiwork that combines both local history and art. One of the quilts is made from material from the garment factory in Bernice. We would like to have a photo of the factory to accompany the quilt. Please look through your old photos or newspaper clippings to see if you have something. The quilt exhibit will be up May 5-June 27 and will be sponsored by Plum Creek.
