Norris House Burns

The Gazette
November 6, 1895

Sunday evening about 4 o’clock the dwelling house of Mr. Henry Norris, who lives nine miles north of town, was destroyed by fire. He and his wife were from home, visiting neighbors at the time the house was burned and consequently none of the property inside the house was saved. Mr. Norris is an energetic and hard working young farmer and this loss will be a serious blow to him. Nothing in the way of wearing apparel was saved except the clothing which he and his wife had on. The origin of the fire is unknown.
