In the Times-Democrat’s society notes from Baton Rouge, we note the following paragraph, which will be read with interest by many of our readers, as the groom was once a popular young man of Farmerville: The many friends of Mr. W. N. McFarland, a popular attache of the State Auditor’s office, and Miss Ella Adams, daughter of the late Secretary of State, T. S. Adams, were very much interested in the happy event of their marriage, which took place Tuesday evening in New Orleans at the St. Charles Hotel. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Dr. Whittinghill, and Dr. N. K. Vance of this city acted as best man, and Miss Florence Dymond maid of honor. Mr. and Mrs. McFarland are now pleasantly domiciled at the Hausey House in this city, and are receiving the congratulations of their host of friends.
