Henderson – Bearden
Wednesday evening Nov. 23, 1898, quite a number of relatives and friends gathered at the residence of Capt. W. H. Regan to witness the nuptials between Mr. Robert Henderson and Mrs. Rosa Bearden. At 3:30 Mr. Wince Henderson and Miss Rowena Regan led out on the piazza followed by Mr. Joshua Lambert and Miss Della Henderson; an aisle was formed by the two attending couples, then immediately the groom led his bride to the altar, and were united in the holy bonds of wedlock by Rev. A. J. Callaway.
Phelps – Tucker
At the residence of the bride’s parents, relatives and friends assembled Sunday Nov. 27, 1898, to witness the marriage of Mr. Geo. W. Phelps and Miss Stella Tucker. At 10 o’clock a.m. Mr. H. P. Tucker and Miss Rowena Regan appeared to the audience, followed by Mr. Henry Futch and Miss Ethel Tucker, then came the bride and groom and were united “for better or worse” by Rev. M. F. Gathright.
