Four Legged Chicken

Mr. E. A. Coleman left at The Gazette office a curiosity in the shape of a young chicken with four well developed legs and feet. The chicken is preserved in alcohol. Its mother was setting in a brush help. This was fired and the heat from the fire caused the egg containing the chicken to burst open before it was ready to hatch. When found the chicken was dead.
