Eli Rivers Shot

Just before we were ready to go to press, we learned that a negro named Eli Rivers was shot at Marion Monday night by some unknown party during the performance of Clark’s show. The negro had a quarrel with some of the show people just previous to the shooting. The wound is a serious one, and may prove fatal. No arrests have been made.
