Mr. Edward Everett, our popular deputy clerk of court, wore such a broad smile Monday morning that we thought possibly an angel had appeared to him Sunday and had given him unfailing assurances of his election next April. Upon inquiry we learned that an “angel” had appeared and its coming brought the glorious announcement to Mr. Everett that he was “Papa”. That “angel” is a bright young boy. Mother and child both doing well.
