Last Wednesday evening Mr. D. L. Cromwell and Miss Sophia Haas were united in the holy bonds of matrimony at the residence of Mr. R. Haas in Farmerville. Rabbi L Heinberg, of Monroe, performed the ceremony, after which the bridal party marched to the Masonic Hall, where excellent refreshments were served in boundless profusion.
The bride was a popular member of Farmerville’s social circle for some years and she is a sister of the Messrs. Haas, of our town who are prominently identified with Farmerville’s mercantile interests. The groom is a member of the mercantile establishment of Haas Mercantile Co., Ltd. He is an affable young man of excellent business qualifications.
The bridal couple left Monday for their future home in Bernice, La., where they carry with them the best wishes of their many friends for a pleasant journey on the matrimonial sea.
