Mr. B. F. Post has at last moved his family to Lillie. The day after he moved his baby girl fell and broke her left arm. She is improving rapidly now.
Mr. S. W. Ramsey, Jr., passed Lillie on the train a few days ago.
Mr. T. J. Cole is visiting relatives here this week.
Not many days since the wife of Mr. Walter Ponder at the Farrar saw mill was pretty badly burned by the explosion of gun powder which she was holding in her lap. Her husband threw an empty shell (as he thought) into the fire, but there was enough powder in it to explode; and the fire flew into the lady’s lap, catching the inflammable material.
Dr. W. S. Harrell has been on the puny list for sometime.
Christmas has been rather dull here except the shooting portion of it, which has been greater than common.
