Rowland – Henry Marriage

The Gazette
October 3, 1900

Yesterday eve (26th ult.) Mr. J. A. Rowland was married to Miss Maymie Henry. Jim is the oldest son of Dr. E. F. Rowland of Lapile, and is one of Union County’s most popular young gentlemen. He possesses excellent business qualifications, is reliable and worthy and we predict that he will make an indulgent provident husband for the sweet, lovable popular young lady who links her destiny with his, and that Miss Maymie will make for him a wife such as any man can justly feel proud. A more popular couple with all classes never joined hands in marriage and entire Tribune force joins with their host of friends in hoping they may find married life fraught with true happiness, satisfactory prosperity and good health. — El Dorado Tribune
