Last Wednesday morning at the residence of Dr. and Mrs. E. F. Rowland, Mr. A. C. Gill, of Farmerville, and Miss Meda Rowland, of Lapile, Ark., were united in marriage. The ceremony was impressively performed by Eld. J. U. H. Wharton in the presence of a number of friends from Union County, Ark., and Union Parish, La.

Thursday afternoon the bridal party drove to the home of the groom’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Gill, of Lincoln Parish, where an elegant reception was tendered them and a number of invited friends Friday.

The bride is a most lovable and charming young lady richly endowed with excellent qualities of heart and mind, and the groom is an industrious and promising young man, and well worthy of the valuable prize he has won in the matrimonial market.

The Gazette bespeaks for Mr. and Mrs. Gill a most happy, prosperous and blissful journey upon the sea of matrimony.
