April 17, 1901

Court opened Monday afternoon. As both the criminal and civil dockets are light the session will be of short duration — possibly adjourn Thursday.

Monday afternoon, the suit of Mrs. Nannie Miller, adm., vs. B. T. Hopkins, was tried and submitted. Ed. Mayo pleaded guilty to charge of carrying concealed weapons and was fined $20 and costs. Will Dock Smith was acquitted of charge of selling liquor without license.
