Marriage license was issued this evening by clerk of the district court R. A. Young to Mr. P. H. Ford and Miss Ida Ford, and the marriage is to occur in this city today. Mr. Ford is a prosperous merchant and excellent citizen of Ouachita City, while Miss Ford is a well known dress-maker of Monroe. They will leave for their home at Ouachita City tomorrow. The News extends its congratulations and well wishes for long life and happiness. — Monroe News.
