District court opened Monday morning, and as usual it will be a “quiet” session, holding only a short portion of the week.
The following business has been transacted;
Suit of C. L. Gunby vs. Benj. Taylor, president board of reviewers, et. al., was dismissed at plaintiff’s cost.
In case of State vs. Burt Ham et. al., Lonnie Roan and Sam Brazzeale pleaded guilty to charge of disturbing peace at private house and were fined $10 and costs. The other defendants were discharged.
Charge against Jack M. Kennedy for maiming domestic animal was nolle prossed upon defendant paying costs.
Joe Page was convicted of charge of selling liquor without license.
Frank Palmer was acquitted of same charge.
