District Court convened Monday morning with all the officers present. There is but little business before the tribunal, and the session bids fair to be a quiet one.
The case against Ed. Buckley, charged with obtaining money under false pretenses, was nolle prosequied by district attorney.
John Cavanaugh was acquitted in two cases on charge of retailing liquor without license; and the same disposition was made in case against Adam McCrary on same charge.
In suit of C. M. Thompson vs. G. A. Heard et al. Judgment for plaintiff for $300 and recognizing privilege and mortgage for $800.
Judgment of divorce in favor of plaintiff was rendered in suit of Frank Lankford vs. Sylla Lankford.
