From a standpoint of litigation, court last week was a “short horse and quickly curried,” the business attended to being very little.

In suit of W. E. Hopkins vs. S. S. Plummer, judgment for plaintiff for about $140.

Will Johnson was fined $100 and costs for retailing liquor without license, and in default of payment of fine to be imprisoned two months.

William Spivey and Wm. Lebeff each pleaded guilty to charge of violating labor contract and were fined $10 each and costs.

In suit of Keiffer Bros, vs. Edmund Haas, judgment was rendered in favor of plaintiffs for $305.60.
