Funeral services for Lori Ann Taylor, 58, of Farmerville will be held at 10:00am, Friday, May 11, 2018 at Holmesville Baptist Church near Downsville with Bro. Jerry Whitman officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Nebo Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Lori went to her heavenly home on May 8, 2018. She was employed with the Farmerville Police Department. Her previous employment was Thelma’s Flower Shop, the Union Parish Sheriff’s Office, Louisiana State Police Troop F and D’Arbonne Ambulance Service. She was a member of Holmesville Baptist Church and was an avid LSU fan. Lori’s favorite pastime was to cook for family and friends. She also enjoyed reading and playing games. Lori is best known and remembered for her deep and abiding love of her people – her brothers, sisters, son and daughter, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family, too many to list.

Lori was preceded in death by her parents, Norma & Robert “Piddle” Taylor and sister of the heart, Linda Davis Laing.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, John Andrew Taylor & Elise of Bernice; daughter, Julia Taylor Hancock & Dustin of Choudrant; 3 brothers: Robert V. “Bobby” Taylor, Jr. & Renee of Downsville, Keith Taylor & Lori Jo of Downsville, and Stuart Taylor & Sonya of Calhoun; 2 sisters: Karen Taylor of Downsville and Remona Barron & Scott of Spearsville; 8 grandchildren: Madison Taylor, Noah Taylor, Jonah Taylor, Micah Taylor, John Michael Hancock, Levi Hancock, Cason Hancock, and Sadie Hancock; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives; best friend, Deborah Spann; and beloved furry friend, Bailey.

Pallbearers will be Robert Taylor, Josh Taylor, Nick Taylor, Michael Johnson, Mark Adkins, Erik Zachry, Zeb Mason, and Kenny Brazzel.

Visitation will be at Holmesville Baptist Church on Thursday from 5:00-8:00pm.
