Court was called to order Monday morning, all the officers at their places. The following business was transacted:
Ollie Johnson pleaded guilty to charge of assault with a dangerous weapon and was fined $25 and costs and sentenced to 30 days in jail.
Jim Farrar was acquitted of charge of retailing liquor without license.
Cases against Ralph Ferguson et al., on charge of severing from the soil, was nolle prossed. Also case against Henry Brown, on charge of carrying concealed weapons.
John M. Land pleaded guilty to charge of carrying concealed weapons, and was fined $25 and costs.
Erau Tucker pleaded guilty to charge of retailing liquor without license, and was fined $100 and costs.
Fred Farmer pleaded guilty to charge of assault and battery, and was fined $15 and costs.
Paul Roberts pleaded guilty to charge of disturbing the peace on public street, and was fined $15 and costs.
Willie Gibson pleaded guilty to charge of maiming domesticated animal.
District attorney entered nolle prosequi in case Ed. Phelps, charged with disturbing peace on public highway. Same disposition was made of case against J. C. Maroney, charged with carrying concealed weapons.
Willie Lewis and Nealy Lewis pleaded guilty to charge of carrying concealed weapons, and were each fined $25 and costs.
In suit of J. R. Fuller vs. Wm. B. Lowery, judgment for plaintiff.
In suit of J. D. Everett vs. R. E. Thompson, judgment for defendant on reconventional demand for $46.06.
Suit of Mrs. Mary C. Loper vs. John Mathews was dismissed.
Judgment of not guilty was rendered in case of State vs. Will B. Wells et al. charged with assault with a dangerous weapon.
W. B. Wells was convicted of assault and battery and fined $7.50 and costs.
Probate and appeal dockets are fixed for trial for Thursday.
