Our little town is flourishing. The mill is still doing a good business, although one side only is running, cutting about one hundred thousand feet per day.
Dubach is building up; four new dwellings and one large store house have been erected lately, and more to follow.
Crops are as fine as the land can make them.
There was a ripple of excitement last Saturday morning, the Johnston house caught fire, but the flames were quickly subdued with but little damage to the building. A defective flue caused the fire.
Mrs. A. L. Mashaw and children are visiting their parents Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Raney.
UNCLE BILLIE.
