Eric Grambrell, Jr. of Dallas, Texas is spending a few weeks here with his grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. Duke Selig. His parents accompanied him here Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Barr and son, Charles spent Sunday in Shreveport.
T. L. Nunnery, 90, Father of H. F. Nunnery of Farmerville, died at his home at Liberty, Miss., Sunday, Sept. 24. Mr. Nunnery was called to the bedside of his father shortly before he died, returning here Tuesday morning.
Mr. and Mrs. S. L. Tubbs and Mrs. W. R. Bell of Crowley, La., were guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Williams for the week end.
Dr. and Mrs. J. A. Wainwright and daughters, Misses Martha and Lucie Nell, attended the funeral of Mrs. Wainwright’s mother, Mrs. Martha Head, at Covington last Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Preaus and Mr. Frank Turner spent last week in New Orleans.
Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Turnage, Jr., spent Sunday at Bryceland with Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Boone. Mrs. G. R. Boone, who spent the past two weeks at Bryceland, accompanied them home.

Miss Alice Virginia Mitchell, student at La. Tech, Ruston, spent the week end here with here mother, Mrs. E. L.Mitchell, and had as her guests Miss June Mitchell and Messers John Brooks, Jr., and David Garland.
