The first store of its kind in Farmerville is the Ramsey Electrical Appliances which opened its doors for business in February of this year.

Operating on a franchise from the General Electric corporation, the business deals exclusively in General Electric refrigerators, radios and electrical supplies of all kinds.

This summer the store has put in plumbing service and stocks itself with plumbing supplies.

A good amount of patronage has been enjoyed by the business with 26 refrigerators having been sold up to the first of September. 

A good supply of gas heaters, radios, plumbing and electric supplies and all sorts of electric fixtures is carried in stock.

John R. Ramsey is owner of the business and employs three people.
