Livestock Auctions Held Every Friday

Green and Smith Commission Agents opened their livestock auction sales here early this year.

The business is conducted on a service to the seller business, no charge being made for handling an animal that is not sold. Five per cent commission is charged on every animal sold.

The auctions are held in Farmerville every Friday and draw large crowds of buyers and sellers.

In conjunction with the business, the partners handle a complete line of McCormick-Deering farm equipment and a complete line of fertilizers.

Mr. Green and Mr. Smith invite the farmers of Union Parish to attend these sales and see the fine livestock offered for sale.

These commission agents will trade fertilize and farm implements for any kind of livestock.
