Patent Issued to Wood

The United States Land Office issued a patent to Matthew Wood, President of the Union Parish Police Jury, on May 29, 1839, to the W 1/2 of SE 1/4 and E 1/2 of SW 1/4 of Section 30, Twp 21 N., R.1 East for the purpose of establishing the town site of Farmerville, containing 160.94 acres more or less.
