There was a pie supper given at Holmesville Friday night, January the sixth, for the benefit of the Sunday school. We had a very good crowd. There were twenty-six dollars and seventy-five cents.
There were two candidates present, Mr. Scarborough and Mr. Madden. Mr. Thomas Lane Fuller and Mr. Armand Rabun donated five dollars each and Mr. Edwards Everett, Jr. donated two dollars and fifty cents.
We appreciated the presence of everybody and the interest took in the pie supper.
We hope that our Sunday school can work on a cash basis from now on.
