Among twenty-eight WPA projects which have recently been approved by the State Planning Commission is one for sidewalks in Farmerville which calls for the sum of $24,535.00, according to Commissioner J. Lester White in a communication issued from Baton Rouge last week end.
This will be a great step forward, it is thought by many citizens here, as the town has been in need of this improvement for many years. In view of the fact that other towns and villages, many of them smaller than this, are equipped with good hard sidewalks, there is no good reason why our town should not wake up and hustle them into existence here.
