Spearsville, Jan. 21.

The Spearsville “G-Men” defeated the Choudrant Oilers 71-53 at the Hico gymnasium Wednesday night.

Both teams showed fine floor games but the keen eyes of Futch, G. Smith and F. Smith were too much for the Oilers, although they played a good game.

On Wednesday, January 25, the G-Men will seek revenge from the “Green Parrots” who surprised them with a 64-47 lacing on Friday, January 18, at Monroe. The G-Men will try to prove that the 13th jinks was or when the two teams meet at Bernice Wednesday night.

In other games played that night the Spearsville Senior boys defeated Hico Seniors 24-23 in a very interesting game. Outstanding for Spearsville Seniors were Lyons, Ford and Telford. For Hico was Howe, and the center man.
