We have started of the new year with nearly everybody taking part int he newly organized Sunday School. It was started on January 8, and has an enrollment of sixty-seven. The officers are: M. O. Love, superintendent; S. D. Kennedy and I. Turnage, assistants. Prentiss Taylor secretary.
The teachers are M. O. Love, adults, Mrs. J. H. Hall, intermediate, Mrs. I . McIntosh, junior and Mrs. B. Aulds, Children. Aylmer Gray Taylor is the class secretary for the intermediates, Misses Novis Anderson, Virginia McDougald, and Corine Nyegaard and Mesdames B. E. McDougald and Jack Edwards are pianists, Miss Orea McDougald and Melvin Russell are the song leaders. We extend a cordial invitation to everyone to attend at 11 o’clock every Sunday.
Mr. Donald Williams of Farmerville visited Miss DeVoune Albritton Sunday afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. Earl Hicks and family and Mr. and Mrs. E. Bridges were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ahmed Anderson Sunday.
Mr. John Lee Hicks was at home from the CCC Camp last week end.
Mr. and Mrs. B. E. McDougald and daughters, Orea, and Virginia, Misses Annette Patterson, Vivian Brazzeal, Dorothy McGough, Mr. Elton Brazeal and Stanley Kennedy attended the singing at Marion Sunday afternoon.
