The many friends of Clerk of Court Zollie C. Rabun regret that he has been confined to his home for several days with an attack of painful illness.

Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Barnes of Mer Rouge were guests of his mother, Mrs. Sue L. Barnes last Sunday.

Mr. Fred Lee Barnes of Monroe visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. H. Barnes, Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. K. D. Lankford and daughter, Miss Leone, of Haile were guests of Mrs. Lon Tanner and Miss Ruby Tanner Sunday.

After spending a while here with her parents Mr. and Mrs. R. (?). Dean, Mrs. Harold Gray Barnes has returned to her home in Alas, Ill.

Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Aulds of Monroe were guests of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Dumas, Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Williamson Pipes of near Collington were guests of Mrs. J. D. Baughman Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Preaus and little son, Frederick, spent the last week end at Ruston with Mrs. Preaus’ parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Gill.

Mr. and Mrs. George Thorgeson of Baton Rouge spent the latter part of the past week here with Mrs. Thorgeson’s mother, Mrs. Calla Taylor.

Mrs. E. E. Keebler of Rayville was a guest of her mother, Mrs. J. D. Baughman the first of last week.

Miss Bobby Scot of Mansfield is the guest of Mrs. H. M. O’Donald.

Mr. S. S. Broussard and Mr. L. Tarver spent the week end at Sicily Island.

Mrs. Bert Chapman of Jacksonville, Texas, spent the week end here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Tettleton.

Mrs. John Hogan is spending a while in Monroe with her parents.

Mrs. Tom Elliott of El Dorado is the guest of her sister Mrs. Joe Booth.

Mr. Billie Joe Booth is visiting friends at Waterproof.

Mr. Dewitt Pickens and son of Monroe were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Booth Friday.

Mrs. Gussie Wright of Alexandria is here visiting her sister, Mrs. Duke Selig.

Mrs. O. K. Turner and little daughter of Dallas, Texas, are guests of Mrs. Turner’s father, Dr. C. C. Francis

Mrs. Jim Bob Burgess of El Dorado was the guest of Mrs. Edward Everett, Jr. Thursday.
