Sunday was our regular preaching day. Bro. Odom preached us a splendid sermon Sunday night, which was enjoyed by all.
Mr. Spencer Allen of Marion was buried Saturday in Pine Grove cemetery. He was an old citizen of Shiloh for many years and leaves a host of relatives and friends to mourn his death. Those attending his funeral from here were: Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Heard, Mr. Jim Heard, Mrs. Hattie Moore, Mrs. E. E. Buckley and Miss Bettie Heard.
Little J. L. Sterling is improving after a spell of sickness.
Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Barham of Ruston were visitors here Friday.
Mrs. Sebe Booles is confined to her bed and has been real sick.
Miss Bettie Heard was the guest of Mrs. Hattie Moore Sunday.
Mrs. J. W. Pardue is able to be up again after a spell of sickness.
Mr. Clyde Moore was the guest of Raymond Buckley Sunday.
Little Virginia Ann Barham is on the sick list.
Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Mabry, Mr. and Mrs. Larkin Strickland of Ruston were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Buckley Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Buckley of Bernice were guests of Mrs. Lottie Stirling Sunday afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Heard had as their guests Sunday Mr. Boo Ferguson and family.
Mr. and Mrs. S. P. Tabor had as their guests Sunday, Mr. Fred Shaw and children.
Mrs. Jim Heard was the guest of Mrs. E. E. Buckley Sunday afternoon.
Miss Madia Buckley spent Sunday with Miss Floy Tabor.
Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Johnson had as their guests Sunday their children, Mr. and Mrs. J. R.. Hammock of Bernice, Mrs. Florence Allen and children of Dubach, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis McKinney of Shreveport, Mr. Harry Johnson of El Dorado, and Mr. Tom Johnson of Bernice.
Mrs. J. O. Bass (nee Miss Doris Nash of El Dorado) was the guest of Miss Allegra Phillips Sunday afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. Tommie Miller of Jonesboro visited relatives her Sunday.
