Mrs. Ellen Howell and Mrs. Joe Linder were called to the beside of their father, Mr. Marion Raborn, Friday who was reported seriously ill.
Mr. and Mrs. Hollis Valle of near Rayville, visited their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hartie Raborn, last week.
Mrs. Ethel Calk of Junction City of Junction City, visited in this community Saturday.
Uncle Tid Barrett was happily surprised on his 86 birthday, March 11th., with a beautiful Chocolate cake sent him through mail, by his grand-daughter, Miss Burdette Fleming, of Converse, La. It arrived just it time for dinner. We wish for him more of these enjoyable occasions.
