All members of Pisgah Baptist church met Sunday afternoon at 3:00 and elected as their Pastor Rev. Hinkie, of Dubach.
Several church members went to Dubach to hear his sermon and to notify him of his sermon and to notify him of his call.
Mrs. George Copeland of Oklahoma, is visiting relatives here this week.
Miss Lucille Denday was the guest of Miss Malta Shackleford Sunday.
The Sunday School is giving a program Mother’s day, May 12, and in the afternoon there will be singing. Every one is invited to attend.
Mr. Gill Harris, Mr. Odos and Miss Lola O’Rear of Homer were visitors of Mrs. L. M. Dendy Monday night, and were accompanied home by Mr. Hansell Dendy and wife.
Miss Opal Grafton spent Saturday night with Miss Erma Robinson.
Rev. Hinkie, we are sorry to say will not be able to be with us next Sunday but every one come and bring song books and get in practice for Mothers day.
