Sunday Sept. 29 is the beginning of a new day at the church of greater service for the Master.
This is our Promotion Day special program will be rendered Sermon, and election of officers for the Adult Women’s Bible class. All the people are requested to be present.
Our prayer meeting on Saturday night is a wonderful service. If you miss these services you are cheating your self out of a great work for our Master.
The B. Y. P. U. will render a special program at 7 o’clock.
Mrs. Clyde Allred, of Snow Hill, Mr. Clarence Gray and family, of Smackover, Messers P. M. Hinton, Ira and Willie Gray and families, of Hico, and Mrs. Georgia McCall were guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Gray, Sunday.
Mr. W. E. Weldon and family visited Mr. and Mrs. Foyd Brooks last Sunday.
Misses Cleo McCuller and Norene Strickland spent the week end with Misses Mattie Lou and Bessie Gray.
Many from here attended the association at Cooks Chapel near Ruston, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Miss Mae Bell Weldon of El Dorado was the guest of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Weldon, Sunday.
Mr. Bishop Robinson and family, of Ruston, visited Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Brooks Sunday.
Mr. Fae Patterson, of El Dorado, visited his parents here Sunday.
Miss Thelma McCuller, who is teaching school at Antioch, spent the week end with Mr. and Mrs. D. M. McCuller.
Mrs. Pearl Strickland and children visited Mrs. Larkin Strickland, of Ruston, Sunday.
Mr. and Ben Patterson and daughters, Sibyl and Cecil, were visitors in Farmerville last Thursday.
Mrs. Lorene Grafton visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Wynn, at Ruston, last week end.
