Miss Rela Key of Franklin and Mr. Guillotte of Morgan City were united in marriage last Saturday.

Melton Gray gave an old fashioned log rolling last Thursday and Friday. A large crowd attended.

Misses Haver Ferguson, Zola Mae and Lorane Gresham, Messers. Virgie Barrett, John Newton Bowen, Howard Carlton and Mrs. Tom Johnson enjoyed an outing on Wingfield Lake last Sunday.

Mr. and Jim Thaxton and family of Cotton Plant, Ark. have moved back to Bernice.

Mr. and C. R. McGee, Mesdames, R. W. Patterson, E. F. Welch have returned from the Rio Grand Valley and report a very enjoyable trip.

Miss Sadie Ellis has returned from a visit to her father at Waco, Texas.
