Times are flourishing here and everything is moving off lively. The high price of cotton has made good times for the farmers and they are happy.
Mr. Will Pruitt had the misfortune to lose his right hand yesterday by getting it caught in the machinery.
Our town is building up right along, several new residences being under way of construction.
Hog killing has been the order of the day lately. W. H. Raney killed the two boss hogs of Dubach. They were 15 months old and weighed receptively 315 and 325 pounds. They were Berkshires.
